Addiction Awareness Meditation

I want you to know that this book is not about fixing you or getting you to change into being a different person. It is about helping you use a particular awareness technique that helps you see the root causes of your particular addiction, which may be different than any other person who also refers to themself as being an addict. It is about your awareness.This material is extremely specific to your way of being confused, and you can use this technique to customize the way you work with your addiction through being aware of it. If you try to figure it out with logic, analysis, and thinking, you just play into the very cause of the problem itself: the addiction to right/wrong, correct/incorrect, ethics, commentary of your mother and father, and the structures in society that you have been raised to think are correct.Find your own authority. Go into your own awareness, and this is a way of doing that. It's not for everyone. It’s very difficult and challenging. You have to work at it.
